1. Your Skills
This is the most tempting thing to lie about, but it's also the worst thing to lie about. If you claim that you know how to do something, like use a certain computer program, then your new boss might end up asking you to a job that you have no idea how to do. Do you really want to embarrass yourself by telling everyone that you have no idea how to do something you're supposed to be a pro at already?
