Even though a lot of companies nowadays require a college diploma and years of experience in that field, you can still find high paying jobs that don’t require too much experience. Some of these jobs will even offer you paid, on-the-job training, so what more could you want? I should mention the fact that all those jobs that require little experience or post-secondary education are not all in retail stores and restaurants. One of those jobs that require no experience that you should consider is bill collector, since most of these positions only require a high school diploma. Also, experts estimate that the employment rate for bill collectors will grow by approximately 19% in the next 10 years. In order to get this job, you must demonstrate good customers service skills and you must effectively communicate over the phone.

Bartender

You don’t need a college education to become a bartender but you must go to a bartending school if you want to excel at your job. Bartending can be hard though, because this job requires spending long hours at work and you must deal with an imbibing public from different walks of life. If you have enough patience and if you love kids, you could become a school bus driver since this job requires no previous experience. Another job you can get without having too much experience is real estate broker. If you love books and reading and if you are looking for a job that requires little or no experience, you could become a library technician. Even though becoming a librarian requires years of schooling and certifications, in order to become a library technician, in most cases you must have a high school diploma. Technicians assist librarians in ordering new titles, shelving books and organizing materials.

Occupational Therapist Aide

This is another job you could obtain with little or no experience. An occupational therapist aide must prepare the materials and the equipment used in the rehabilitation of people with mental, physical, emotional or even developmental disabilities. It just requires a high school diploma and good interpersonal skills.
